Jams & Performances

What’s the difference between a jam and a performance, you ask? Well a jam is an informal music performance where musicians play instruments with each other, and share turns with improvised leads. A performance is when musicians showcase their talents to a non-participatory audience.

July 10, 2021

The Concert for Casitas Springs on Saturday evening July 10 was a huge success. Thanks to all the OTF District 8 members and musicians who participated in our community outreach event. We had approximately 150 people in attendance. We had many residents of Casitas Springs and Oakview present as well. Lots of good vibes all around. Thanks to Pastor Doug Jones of The Springs of Life Church who allowed the OTF to use the church property for the Concert. As a result of the audience's generosity, $226 was raised and donated to The Springs of Life Church. It was a win/win for all involved. We are looking forward to hosting another community outreach event soon. Stay tuned for details.
